Hi, I'm Quentin (most people call me Q). As a retired Marine and lifelong hunter, I'm a strong advocate of the 2nd amendment and the right keep and bear arms. In an ever more dangerous world, it's important for people to have the right to choose to defend themselves as well as ethically provide food for their families. Just as important, though, is the need to do so safely. I teach on an outdoor range with very hands-on training that includes a strong focus on weapons handling and safety.

As a certified instructor with the US Concealed Carry Association, I am able to provide full training and approved curriculum for anyone that would like to apply for an Iowa state concealed carry permit (CCW). I have several dates setup for this year, or we can discuss setting up a class on a date and time that works for you if those listed do not work. If you are considering purchasing a weapon but have never used one, I would love to show you how to safely handle and fire one. If you have recently purchased a weapon, I am happy to help you learn how to safely fire, disassemble, and clean it. Even if you are familiar with weapons or already have a CCW but haven't fired in a while, you are welcome to come out and touch up on your skills.
